James Murphy

Class: Junior Height: 6′ 2″ Weight: 105 (kg) Position: 8 Hometown: Mount Sidney

James broke his arm early in the 2001 practice season and spent the entire season with a cast. But for 2002 he has shown lots of improvement and team spirit. James is an agressive player who likes to come to the net and pound the ball. James is a good doubles player and sometimes teams with Kevin at #3 doubles.

His memories of playing on the team include locking Brandon in the shed, eating good snacks especially Scooby Snacks, riding on the “special seat”, and seeing James P. getting pegged at the 2001 districts.

2002 Record
James had a good season, playing in eight doubles matches at #3. He became more consistent as the season progressed. His strongest memories of the season are from playing with Mark and “Hanz.”

James plans to work in Cape Cod this summer.

James plans to attend Virginia Tech after graduation where he would like to study architecture.
